Jalisco - Puerto Vallarta

Staying at Villa del Palmar for 6 weeks makes for a great vacation and one of the reasons is due to the wonderful staff. I want to mention one in particular, Francisco, head of food and beverage. A young man, fairly new to the resort, has been friendly and always eager to make sure that you as a member or guest are happy. He always speaks when he sees you and quite often he will stop and talk. If you are at our resort make sure you say hi to Francisco. Thanks Francisco for going above and beyond. Ron

While staying at Villa del mar we often visit the Jalisco sports bar for drinks and karaoke. In talking to customers we have found mixed reviews. Some people think the food is great although they may complain about the service and how long it takes to get your food. Last night four of us decided to go for dinner and drinks. I must say that we were pleasantly surprised. We sat at a table and within a very short period of time Juan our waiter came over and asked us what we wanted to drink. After we got our drinks we ordered. It seemed no time that our food was delivered to our table by Jorge the manager of the bar. He was pleasant and asked if we needed anything else. Juan as well as Jorge came back Several times to make sure that we were happy with our meal. Doing our meal I noticed that the bar manager Juan was very busy delivering food to a lot of different tables big smile on his face and being pleasant to everyone. When we were finished we asked for the bill and it was brought promptly. The food was excellent and hot. We had onion rings, BLT sandwich, wings, and chicken tenders with wedges. If you happen to be in the area , stop bye and try some of their food , have a drink and remember that while you’re on vacation these folks are trying to make a living serving you.

Food was really good, service was awesome. Price was good as well. Its a sports bar so lots of TVs playing with lots of sports represented.

Bar usually has happy hours and food specials. Burger nights, taco nights all good food for reasonable price. Same with the drinks good drinks at reasonable prices. Host a Super Bowl party each year that sells out. Lots of sports! Good free wifi

This is the only restaurant/bar that stays open late. Fun decor, young staff, and good food and drinks. Good music too.
