That was unbelievable and eating was amazing. we were there for the New Year's Buffet. definitiw a place for very special occasions!
We had a large party so they sat us inside and the waiter was not so good but the food was very nice.
This was the first night of the new menu for the Princeville Hotel (formerly St Regis). The menu is a Japanese/Hawaiian fusion which sound pretty nice but it wasn’t. The chicken was not cooked thoroughly, and my fish was over cooked. The two steaks where very tasty. Although one was supposed to be medium rare it was more of a medium. The vegetables that you think you are getting are really just a garnish. Overall we really loved the old menu and didn’t love the new one. And it’s quite pricey for what you get.
In the last ten years we have been here in the hotel and restaurant, but was disappointed by the quality of eating well, but not at the level of pastness, service has also suffered since sale, now no longer the st regis. Of course, the physical environment on the terrace over the hanalei bay and the Nepalese coast is simply one of the most spectacular environments everywhere, check out the photo
