This place was delicious!! The sweet potato wedges were so great. Crispy and sweet to perfection. The brisket was good. Mac and cheese was good. Can't wait to go here again.

Great food and reasonable prices. As good or better than Home cooking. Call in order, jump in the car and pick it up, come home and gobble it up.

Tha food was good and plentiful. There were numerous side offerings as well as desserts. The pulled pork and brisket was delicious as was the chicken and dumplings.

We went here for the first time for Portsmouth restaurants week. The food was amazing we can not wait to go back. One thing was better then the next the pico de g didnt pack a ton of heat so all the other flavors truly blossomed. The sweet potatoes wedges were a generous helping crispy out side soft inside. The pork was well smoked with a true NC taste not killed in vinegar like someplace will do. And I wish this place made walfals because there chicken tenders were to die for, actual chicken battered in house and fried so moist so crunchy!!
