Best Friend Juice Cafe - Portland

I visited this restaurant once and was not impressed with the smoothie. It was called "Chocolate City," but it just tasted like a mix of banana and blueberry. The menu wasn't clear about whether cacao and maca were included in the smoothie separately or together. Additionally, I found the service lacking in helpfulness.

Best Friends Juice Bar is fantastic! I visited this morning to place a few orders for myself and my coworkers, and I had the pleasure of working with a lovely blonde woman (I unfortunately didn’t catch her name). Even though she was a bit short-staffed, she kindly informed me about the wait, so I decided to come back since I work down the street. After the wait, she went above and beyond after I accidentally dropped my drink, quickly preparing a new smoothie bowl for me. The staff here is truly wonderful!

Everything about Best Friend is fantastic! The food, which is made on-site, and the customer service are top-notch. For those with dietary restrictions, I believe all the options available are vegan and gluten-free!

The food was not that good at all. I could stomach it but the super bowl was goopy and nearly slimy, like the bananas were overripe or something? Smoothie wasn’t that great either. Otherwise it was alright but I wouldn’t eat there

I don't know who's writing the reviews, but I suspect a lot of friends and family, but this is where you really have to be cautious about reading food reivews in Portland. Overall the location, the setting and the cafe it'self are nice, but the food is bland at best and blahh at worst. I'm sorry, the food tastes like it was made by the same kids who make the wall art. Don't get me started on the ruinning vegan food. Yuck.
