Persis Indian Grill - Pooler

Stopped for lunch, didn't know where the place is. pleasantly surprised, the personal was friendly and attentive, we had saag windshield wiper and malai kofta with something butter naan. both were excellent and eating a lot, especially enjoyed the saag distributors. it is difficult to find other than typical uninteresting chain restaurants in pooler, so this was a pleasant surprise.

The first time to eat Indian cuisine. not sure how to taste the things, but all we had was very good. our server was fantastic and helped to explain some of the dishes. we had garlauch naan, tandoori huhn and kadai huhn. we ordered spicy and were not disappointed. very relaxed atmosphere. we're coming back.

At first they took 15 minutes after we stay down to get to our table to order and we waited almost 45 minutes or maybe even more to get our food. Once we were ready to pay, I had found someone who gave us a leak, everything I saw managers/people laughing there and talking to the corner. the people waited at the door to sit. then kind of looked like manager and came (after I took my hand to call him) and I'm sorry we were super busy, etc. (just to get good tips, he was nice.) I'm as if I saw you there, and now if I'm right for you to be nice. Anyway, it was good to eat, that's plus point I'd give. also tables were small for 2 people sitting and enjoy Indian food. 1 main court itself comes with sorts and arranged in several. we were almost saved from falling our food. we asked server to take something from our table so we can enjoy, but no, we said it 3-4 times, but they only pretended to have heard them, but did nothing. the total service is okay and slow. Just go after dinner, that's all.

Persis is Indian good with good ambiance (specifically without drowning diner in fake bollywood.) eating was very good and clearly fresh. they offered a series of seasoned and a quite extensive menu. the prices were justified, but far higher than the cheap Indian takeout her Tandoori chicken was the best I had in the states.

I used to like this restaurant.I ordered cashew curry as usual.But this time and last time they used tons of chunks of peanuts instead of cashews. That is peanuts curry!! It was Not creamy taste like before.Also my husband chicken curry is not good bc chicken was so dry this time.taste like frozen cut chicken meat very sharp square meat.And another problem, our server’s thumb touching my curry sauce in the bowl when he was brought my food. Disgusting!!!food quality got worse recently.Maybe the restaurant owner has changed?I won’t go back.
