Contribuiți la feedbackThis pub is well known as a real ale pub and has a good selection of ales to choose from. The prices are reasonable and as you expect around most pubs nowadays. There is a nice beer garden with heaters available for those cold evenings and the pub is in a convenient location next to the Barbican.
I visited The Stable multiple times over a short period of time during a holiday, the experience was just that good we couldn't think of a better place to eat and try some cider! Fantastic food and beverages, would highly recommend the pizza.We downloaded the app for the restaurant after visiting, and we made the most out of our purchases getting points towards side dishes and tasting boards, it was certainly a party for the pallet. Absolutely loved the experience and by the looks of it its only gotten better and prettier, can't wait to go back again!
The Stable, Plymouth was absolutely amazing tonight. As someone who is gluten and lactose intolerant finding restaurants that cater for me and don’t make me feel awkward is really hard. But at the stable nothing was too much trouble and they didn’t make me feel awkward at all (especially the waitress in the checked shirt who was so lovely I was able to have a pizza of my choice, made to fit me rather than being limited to one option on the menu and it was delicious! The cider was also amazing- I would highly recommend the tasting board.Thank you to the stable for the best meal out I’ve had for a long time!

If a waitress has to inquire if the food is acceptable when serving it, why bother bringing it out in the first place? Is the chef too lazy to make another dish if it's overcooked? Can they not cook properly? Do they actually want to work there? The list of questions seems endless when it comes to someone who serves nachos like this. With dining out becoming increasingly expensive, one would expect a chain restaurant to have some level of pride in their food, especially with independent establishments becoming rare. The overall experience felt like no one wanted to be there. Service was lacking, the food was subpar, and the attitude of the bartender was poor.
