Ascona Pizza Company - Pleasanton

So I'm here in Pleasanton with my son. He was kind of beaten, so I thought I was cheating on him with pizza. I was a little hesitant to be a pizza connoisseur, and my son was a straight pizza snob, but with the limited options for slices in Pleasanton, I took a risk. My son didn't say how to stay in the car. I answered, boy, if you don't get, look, I'll ask her if this is the best pizza in Pleasanton. If they say no, we disappear. He said... We're going in and we were greeted right away. They saw the bar and told Kew... she got Koka Cola clean... the Feng Sui was good. When I checked the menu, I asked the chill cakes behind the counter is the pizza really good? He said you were never here? I shook my head, then the guy on the back said we were the best pizza in Pleasanton, I said okay...ok. Look at my son and he's got what we'll see about this look... he has a slice of pepperoni and two black olives. I have a paprika, pineapple pesto pizza. The slices were quickly removed and they hung it with double olives. My son said they were double olives. It was all right. Best pizza in Pleasanton.

Would you like 5 star service? I am a small business owner and always strives to provide the best customer service, but a recent experience in this restaurant was incredible! It was a Friday night and my wife wanted to go for a pizza and a beer. We had heard Ascona had the best pizza, so we decided to go there and walk, sat at the bar and ordered our pizzas and drinks. The bartender we learned later was called Nick, came back immediately and brought the beer of my wife, but informed me that it would take a few minutes for mine, and asked if I wanted some water in the meantime. Then he went to the back of the bar, asked the waiter to bring me a glass of water and immediately put on his jacket and ran out of the door, into the dark, cold and rainy night. I thought it was weird, but I thought he had a sudden emergency. A few minutes later I saw that Nick came back, all wet from being in the rain, and he had a 6-pack of my choice of brewery! What I learned later is that they ran out of the brand I had ordered, so Nick drove the road to Safeway to buy the beer I had asked. Now is the ultimate in CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Cool little spot. At first I thought it was just another one of those hipsters building a pizza place, but he met with this full bar and I was whaaa?? Calling a place is a great description. I just passed, no time restrictions. It was a cool place to recover and have a stiff... serious people, grow up TF.

High-quality ingredients in their cakes make things a bit expensive, but of course you get what you pay. Good food and a really good selection of beers on tap keep me back.
