Contribuiți la feedbackWhen I tried this for the first time, I already had a sense that I was here for a delicious meal in the store before coming. This brings me to her Pleasant Hill location in East Bay. This is only one of two locations across Northern California (with the other in Dublin). The remaining restaurants are located in Southern California. Located on Crescent Plaza and just a few blocks from Monument Blvd and Highway 680, this Urban Plates has tasted fresh, healthy American cuisine since mid-2016. I came here in the afternoon of Sunday, 5 September 2021 at 14:45. Since it was lunch, I wanted a hearty meal to take me through the rest of the afternoon night. I used their $10 daily menu where I ended to get their Urban Grilled Chicken Salad. This salad consisted of herbalized cage free, hormone antibiotic free chicken, baby mixed greens, organic Roma tomatoes, shredded organic carrots, jicama, pickled red onions, get lemon vinaigrette dressing with one side of garlic bread. My friend went to a very delicious food that deserves his own heel. He went with her Nashville Hot Tenders entrée. This consisted of two jumbo handcuffed buttermilk battered, antibiotically hormone-free, never frozen chicken cook complete with their homemade scuba sauce, a side roasted Brussels spoon, house salad and garlic bread. The interior of the Urban Plates is very open, welcoming and offers a generous number of seats throughout the building. There is an open glass display area showing many of their popular salads as well as many protein options such as complimentary series chicken, meat and grass fed steak. Finally, they have a very nice wine bar with many local whites and reds from California. The ordering process is simple; You go to the register, pay, and you sit where an employee brings your food to you. But my friend and I sat outside and used the nice warm weather. When our plates finally arrived, I was definitely roughed with the colorful series of blows on my salad. Everything tasted fresh as this whole salad filled and was quite delicious. Maybe something too salty with the dressing, but overall an above-average salad. My friends' chicken was also very tasty as the bread packed a lot of heat. The real winner was the Brussels sprouts, as these tasted just like my mother made them with this roasted, crispy and even-licked taste. Overall, Urban Plates is an excellent option for lunch or dinner as it is a step up from your typical Fast Casual-Sitz-Down restaurant. The prices are decent, the portions are quite generous, and the service was good as expected. You have very generous hours open from 11 am to 9 pm seven days a week. I hope they can expand to more cities in the Bay Area and possibly Sacramento and the
The food was surprisingly delicious, satisfying and good value. Friendly service, even if we came as close as they were. I'd come back here. Healthy decisions, expertly prepared and affordable. I really can't ask for more.
My daughters and I visited Urban Plates after a movie. A window at the edge of the street shows a full size menu that shows your options and prices. In my first impression I liked the design, the whole mood has a 'renewal' Berkeley feeling. There is no table service, so we waited for our order. Unfortunately, an employee worked as a cashier. There were 4 customers in front of us. She worked fast, but we waited 18 minutes before the order. Kitchen service is next to the order line and the food server had to press from the customers. I felt this was a strange position for the servers and customers. Management must rethink this area because it is an unpleasant situation with the close use of space. We ordered the Cheeseburger with Fritten, $12 and a Cobb salad with grilled chicken, $16.95 Self seating, Self service for cutlery, napkins and water. Again I was in the eclectic institution and spent my time admiring the restaurant. Our server brought our food (17 minutes) by using a number given to us from the checkout. The Cheeseburger was small, the bungalow was cold and the patty was grilled excessively. Definitely not worth $12. Five brothers would have been much better. The Cobb salad was rather disappointing. Traditional is a cobb salad with chopped salad greens, tomatoes, crisp bacon, roasted chicken breast, hard boiled eggs, avocado, chives, blue cheese and red-wine vinaigrette. And the ingredients are served in rows. I am open to something innovative, creative or reconstructed. Instead, I was served a spring mix (probably from Costco) with some slightly seasoned chickens, tomatoes, egg, avocado and bacon bits. No cheese and no blue cheese dress. I asked the cashier when I placed the order and she said they didn't. And the restaurant dressing was fair, but a small part. Overall, I was disappointed with our meals. It seems that the restaurant is understaffed. And management must rethink the layout of the restaurant. Let me know your thoughts and opinions. RG
Very spacious space with indoor and outdoor seats at Crescent Plaza. You need to order and pay at the counter and they give you a number and bring your food to the table. The food is delicious and healthy?? Would I like to take pictures of it? we ordered salmon with broccoli and potatoes, a cheeseburger, cattle bowl and caesar salad, everything was delicious!! Must try!
My family ate dinner here for the first time, and my youngest son ordered the mac'n cheese but it wasn't to his liking. I went to the counter to see if they could swap it out for plain noodles but they didn't have any. The manager then walked back to where we were sitting and offered to make my son anything he wished. My son asked for a grilled cheese and despite this not being on the menu he made it happen. ? best service ever! My LO devoured his off menu grilled cheese and VIP treats a ?. Thank you ? ? ?
