We were looking for some empanadas and found this “weather meat” place cheap, delicious and large portions. something that's cursed. bring cash. no cc. we enjoyed real Mexican experience. also, next door is fresh market where they can get any kind of fresh veggie or obst. they open cocose for them when interested in fresh water.

Amazing local food! very low key, simple and minimal expect nothing imaginative regarding decoration or atmosphere, but eating is excellent. the first time I had tacos who were great and the second time out. super fresh and authentic and extremely...good worth, they don't get tourist here. they don't really speak English, but that's good and make sure they pay in peso both meals cost me less than 100mx$

A native told us about this place. a small whole in the wall that specializes in antojitos snack type tacos, panuchos, salbutes, tamale, etc. unpredictable and pretty good. they will not see many tourist there and the exchange rate dollar to pesos is not. good, so they do not try to pay in dollar. they have a faithful local follow-up and also a good business.

Cheap, yummy Mexican food. Several choices of ingredients. When we went we were the only gringos in the place. Staff only spoke Spanish but were very kind and efficient.

Comida muy buena, mejores empanadas y sopes en Playa del Carmen! El servicio es muy bueno tambien, con precios muy adecuados.
