I can't say enough about Arezzo Restaurant in Azul Fives hotel in Playa de Carmen. The Captain Raul Salazar Ochoa, goes out of his way to make you feel special. The chef, Alessandro is amazing!!! His culinary skills are like no other! We have been here twice this week in our stay and have been impressed each time. Our waiter, both times has been Genri another treasure here at this restaurant. I have been too many Italian restaurants in my day and the food, service, attention to detail here surpasses many! Job well done my friends!

I am Italian and the Italian restaurant is not even close to being truly Italian. The tiramisu does not have coffee flavor, the cannoli are made with cones made of puff pastry filled with whipped cream, which is not how cannolis are made. This is just to give an example.Being Gourmet does not mean to serve beautiful and small portions. Here is a full definition of gourmet:a connoisseur of food and drink. Furthermore, all the restaurants should have more vegetarian options.Hope this helps

The meal was excellent and only exceeded by the service we received in particular from our Waiter Jorge who was exceptional. He made the whole evening a night to remember. Thank you. If you choose a Playa Del Carmen vacation definitely look at the Azul Fives and enjoy a good meal and service at the Arezzo.

I recently spent 1 week all inclusive at the amazing Azul Fives resort and Arezzo was out absolute favourite restaurant. The food there is authentic Italian gourmet. Everything is made fresh on the spot. The dining room is an elegant, romantic setting but very family friendly. Unfortunately when we went the reservation system was down so it was first come first serve. We waited a long time but it was worth. Reservations are a must at this restaurant.
