Esposito Pizza - Plant City

We absolutely love Marco's—it's by far our favorite pizza place. We always eat there, and the experience has consistently been outstanding. They offer fantastic deals, and the food quality is excellent.

My salad was left sitting on the counter instead of being kept in a temperature-controlled environment. It was so warm that I had to throw it away.

I visited this restaurant with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and beautifully decorated, with an artist having done a fantastic job painting various scenes featuring faux bricks and stones. The service was attentive, and the pizza was excellent. Having dined at numerous restaurants and pizzerias across many US cities and other countries, I found that most of these experiences were one-time visits with no inclination to return. However, Esposito is a place I look forward to visiting again; I thoroughly enjoyed both the pizza and the crust. Forget those franchise pizzerias—this spot outshines them all. I'm excited to try other items on their menu that I didn't see on the online version during my next visit.

My first bad experience was when they lost our order. The second time, the dinner special was served cold, and the only solution offered was to microwave it. Then came the third strike tonight, 07/30/24: we ordered three slices, and they ended up burning them because they left them in the oven too long. It wasn't even a busy night, and they couldn't handle the simplest task of reheating pizza correctly. It's no surprise they're struggling to attract customers with this level of terrible service. They really need to learn from their mistakes. On a side note, the beer I ordered was out of stock, and they offered an alternative. The owners did ask if I wanted a refund, which I declined, but I won't be returning. There are too many other options out there to bother with this place.
