Emily's Pizza And Pasta - Plano

I have been eating Italian food for over 30 years, and I can confidently say that this restaurant has the best Italian sauce I have ever tasted. Coming from an Italian family, I know good sauce when I taste it.

This is my favorite pizza place. I think this location was closed for renovations at some point, but it is open again now. Thank goodness! You should definitely try it out. The slices of pizza are huge, and they usually have cheese pizza available so you can add your own toppings. I have also tried the pasta and it was fantastic.

I preface my review by noting that I am originally from Chicago, known for its deep dish pizza, the largest pizza in the world. (New York pizza is also quite good).

I would give this restaurant a 10 out of 10 for sure! I was handed a flyer menu for this place and decided to try it, and wow, it was awesome! The first time I ordered, I got 2 pizzas and both were great. The dough was perfect and the sauce was so flavorful. The second time we ordered, we got Alfredo pasta. My son said it was the best he'd ever had, even better than the expensive restaurants like Massiano's. My daughter and I got the chicken with artichoke in a cream sauce, and it was to die for. The portion size was very generous, and the salads were also very good with their homemade dressings. Oh, and wait, the cheesecake was perfect. It was fluffy and had a great crust. This place is now my new favorite Italian place and affordable as well. You gotta try it!

I would rate the pizza at this restaurant a 3-4 out of 10. I have had better frozen pizza before. Overall, I would give this restaurant two stars. The crust was not very good and the service was lacking.
