Sam's Sun Sandwich - Pittsburgh

Great. The gentleman who helped us was very nice. The food was plentiful in portion and flavor. You can see and taste the effort put into the dishes from the seasoning and lemony-kick of the hummus to the smokiness of the babaganoush. I almost couldn't finish the big ol' gyros they're slinging. Almost. I'll definitely be back.

Today was our first visit to Sam's Sun. We definitely will return. We enjoyed speaking with the pleasant owners while waiting for our food to be prepared. The high quality homemade food was fresh and seasoned to perfection. The generous portions were reasonably priced. Between us, we got lentil soup, meat pie, cheese pie, vegetarian grape leaves, feta cheese with black olives and fresh tomato, pita bread, and baklava. We had more than enough food for a second meal each.

We got a chicken salad and gyro, the food was fantastic and the folks who run the restaurant are so friendly. I’ll definitely be back!

So good, tons of meat, great price but the best thing is the service. Sam is the nicest man and it just makes you happy going in talking with him while you wait on your food.

This place is so so good. The service is kind, and the food is delicious. I've been twice and predict many more trips in my future.
