Garage Door Saloon - Pittsburgh

Everybody was so nice. No young college bar at all. It was a mix of PITT staff, some students and some locals. Large area with pool tables and dart boards. The food is ordered from the pizza place next door. We shared apps and great pizzas with flat bread. Come on.

The drinks were cheap and the staff was very friendly and fast. The bar was packed, but I didn't have to wait for a drink. You can also order pizza from a window that was very good. The garlic cheese bread was good. There are also billiard tables in the back.

We had a large group of people spending both our Friday night and Saturday night here, they treated it with ease, although it was busy. The bartenders were incredible and really friendly, Bouncers got everyone through the door really fast, and they all stopped to pictures for us when we needed them. We'll be back boys, thank you for being great!!

An excellent sports / college bar with a huge design selection that is very affordable. The bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable. Even if it's very busy, it doesn't take long to get a good drink. The pool tables and dart boards are in very good shape.

Great little place. There is pool and that is a must. It can get crowded and is most definitely an undergrad bar but the kids were very nice and polite. No one was rowdy. Everyone seemed like it was just a nice place to be with friends and have a nice time. The bartenders are very nice as well. With having such large crowds one would think it might get hideous but that did not happen. The o ly downfall is the weird rule of giving your ID for the cue ball. This is a tedious and odd rule. The person cannot get their ID back without either the cue or an ID switch. Are people stealing cues? The weird part is that people believe they can run a table but how is this possible if someone has the ID cue? That made me.nervous. I think you should come up with something better than that. It is begging for patrons to visit the next day to.get their IDs and many people I met whomjad visited before told me that it was frequent. Other than that, great. also lovely huge windows.
