La Canasta Mexican Restaurant - Phoenix

I go here two three times a week and their window service is so bad! The younger Mexican woman who ran the drive thru yesterday 9/22/23 and often just has the worst attitude daily makes me not even wanna go spend my money there ever again they need someone who has a better attitude there taking their orders! Food amazing! service not at all!

Egg, bacon, potato burrito with rice and beans on the side. Good portion, was good.

While we love this place and have been customers for years, I have to say I’m disappointed when it comes to ordering chips of all things. If you order a LARGE bag of chips it does not include any hot sauce or salsa. Nothing. You have to pay for it. If you order a SMALL bag of chips, it comes with three small hot sauces. When asked if we could get three hot sauces included with the large bag they said no! They make more money on a large bag but include no hot sauce. Makes no sense as you expect chips AND salsa. They use to be generous with hot sauce so not sure when that changed.

Feel sad ? Haven't been here in a while. What I used to enjoy the most was their complimentary chips and salsa bar. It was really good! But now gone and no more : Oh well such is life. Good is fine similar to many other Mexican restaurants nearby. Hope you enjoy.

I’m glad I ran into La Canasta Capitolio. The green chile burrito slaps I get it every time I go. I usually ordered drive-thru but my last visit I decided to dine in and it’s a very authentic vibe once you’re inside. There’s beautiful art work and it’s very clean. I recommend going to La Canasta Capitolio asap.
