Deer Valley Airport - Phoenix

It's a small but welcoming airport. While it feels lived-in, it’s not claustrophobic at all. The night views are stunning, and I absolutely love the terrace. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not open yet due to COVID-19. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this airport, especially if you're flying with small aircraft or looking to avoid Sky Harbor—it's a great choice!

It's too bad they closed it down. I hope someone takes over and reopens it.

What a hidden gem!!! This place has some of the best food in the area. I've been here about 15 times since I started going to Aeroguard Flight School and I am getting on a first name basis with the fantastic people that work at this restaurant, especially Nadia!!!! The atmosphere is perfect. Clean tables and floors, model airplanes hanging from the ceilings, and an amazing view of the planes taking off and landing. The hamburgers are mouthwatering, the lemonade is the best in the United States, and the coffee is definently a plus (especially when I'm studying). Cheers to everyone at this establishment and keep up the fantastic work!!!!

Being there brought back memories of when I was a kid and my father flying us around. My dad would have loved all the model airplanes hanging from the ceiling. Was a 30 minute wait for food so we did the buffet instead. The food was cold and not very fresh I felt it was a waste of money. On the other hand our waitress was excellent. Also enjoyed going up on the deck to watch the planes coming and going and hearing the conversation between the pilots and the tower. All and all it was good only next time I'll order fresh food.

The atmosphere is wonderful and it's a fantastic spot to bring the kids for a new experience. The staff is friendly, but the prices are a bit on the high side for the quality offered. I don’t have high expectations, but I would anticipate something better than Denny's.
