Lin's Grand Buffet -baseline - Phoenix

A lot of food choices ! Service is fast and friendly.

Went there with my daughters. The food was about the same as our normal choice for Chinese buffet. Did not care for the sushi. The Mongolian BBQ looked good, but was full before we could try it. The apple turnover was our favorite dessert.

Normally I would have good things to say about this place. Yes the one on baseline. Have been there a couple time and it was great but on June 17th Father day 2024 I went with My wife. We got seated at a 2 person table back by the sushi hibachi area. Was there all o about 25 minutes not even done with our first plates of food. And I watched a gentleman around the age of 25-30 walk they and get sick yes literally threw up by the buffets. That was the first time he didn’t even stop and turned and walked between the last 2 buffets. He hurled again and tried to block it with his hand and it literally became multi directional at that point landing all over the floor and the buffet top and 2 of t he dishes for sure. Me and my wife have extensive food backgrounds. Immediately I turned around and grabbed the lead busser and showed him what happen. The took several minutes to come out and attempt clean it up instead of immediately shutting down the area and sanitize the space. THEIR CLEANING PRACTICES WERE TO PUT A LOT OF COFFEE DOWN ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND BUFFET TOP. AND ONLY USED 1 wet floor sing. I watched a younger guy almost slip in the coffee puke combination on the floor. THE BIGGEST ISSUE I HAD ABOUT ALL OF THIS IS UNTRAINED STAFF ON HOW TO DEAL WITH SITUATIONS LIKE THIS AND THE FACT THAT THEY WERE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE FLOOR AND WHO WAS GOIN TO CLEAN IT UP RATHER THAN THE PUBLIC SAFETY EATING CONTAMINATED FOOD THAT WAS STILL IN THE BAR AND WACHED A COUPLE PEOPLE STILL GRABBING FOOD OUT OF IT

Everything is on point here with exception to the cashier, who sadly seems to be one of the owners or managers. Really bad attitude with the guests. Been here twice and both times she was just as rude.

It was Father’s Day- so very crowded and the prices were higher for that reason. We Almost didn’t eat there cause it was too expensive for my taste- but after a long day traveling and at that time of the evening I didn’t feel like searching for another restaurant. Server was attentive refilling drinks and removing plates. Wheelchair accessibility: They are ADA compliant- ramp to upper level seating- tables and chairs not stationary booths. It was crowded though and I didn’t check the restrooms. The serving table were all standard height
