Zavino - Philadelphia

We absolutely loved this restaurant! The gnocchi was incredible. They offer a wonderful selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. The server was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. The tiramisu was also delightful! I highly recommend both dishes.

It's always a fantastic visit to the city. They offered a seasonal pumpkin and squash pizza that was both delicious and creative. The beer selection was excellent, and they had a great wine list as well. Occasionally, the service can be incredibly attentive.

Outstanding hospitality coupled with amazing pizza and antipasto offerings. I was a little let down that the wine I requested was not in stock, but the awesome bartender offered a Nero di Avolo to go with the Diavolo pizza and she was spot on about the pairing.

Great pizza and wine. If you come for lunch be prepared for a rather loud dough mixing machine. Otherwise it's a nice place for a glass of wine and a tasty bite.

We were in search of an Italian restaurant that offered gluten-free pizza near the Marriott hotel in Philadelphia. We discovered that Zavino was nearby and served pizzas with gluten-free crusts, so we decided to give it a try since they had a full Italian menu and a bar as well. I ordered the pork pizza, while my wife chose the gluten-free margherita pizza. She told me it was the best she’d ever tasted, made from scratch. We highly recommend stopping by for drinks and delicious Italian food!
