I don’t know how everyone else is getting a perfect sandwich every time but they’re just entirely too full. I ordered the Cubano and it literally had an entire piece of cauliflower in it and an entire unchopped garlic clove. The balance is off, and the hard crispy pork skin is off putting. The sandwiches I’ve had are just a meat mountain with random coursely chopped (at best) stuff piled on top. If you’re really hungry and don’t care about quality sandwiches I guess it will do but the other time I ate here the ciabatta was rock hard and eviscerated my mouth and this time it’s soggy as a mofo, not cut in half, and filled with unchopped and frankly poorly made giardiniera. I won’t be back.
The sandwiches at this restaurant are fantastic. The crispy pork crackling on the porchetta sandwich is absolutely delicious and is what sets it apart. Overall, it is a must-try.
I absolutely love this gem of a place. Great sandwiches on fresh baked Ciabatta bread- all meats and/or vegan options are full of flavor. Their meatball and OG pork sandwiches are the best I've ever tasted. Definitely worth the Jerzy to Philly commute. Their pastries will leave you bewildered, not knowing what to pick. I've had their lemon bars with pretzel crust, handheld blueberry pie, chocolate croissants, Oreo cookie, and granola bar. Not all at once! Lol. View the posted outside menu, step up to their order window, and you enjoy the amazing eats.
Ordered a Philly and it was amazing. The pork and bacon is done so well would eat again right now. Gotta try some of their other items next time.
We ordered the Original Pork, Spicy Pork, and Philly Pork sandwiches, as well as the Pork Fagioli soup online at 4:30 pm on Sunday. The order was ready in about 15 minutes, so we picked it up right away. Unfortunately, all three sandwiches were lukewarm to cold and the pork was dry. They were supposed to be cut in half, but they weren't. This is my second time dining here, and the first time the food was delicious, which is why I returned. The only positive aspect of this experience was that the soup was fantastic. Considering the sandwiches cost $14 each, I expected the same quality as the first time. I don't plan on returning.
