La Casa Di Lucia - Philadelphia

We're in time, the hostess has set us up and then we waited. No one came by after that. no water, no brot, no cutlery, not even a hallo or eye contact from the waiter, who constantly passed. we eat every night out, sometimes go to very beautiful places and sometimes stay locally. that's local, never. never. oh yes, the place was not very crowded, it was early at 18:30. when we got up to leave the hostess, maybe she came her first night, but I doubt it) she asked what is wrong? So I told her. her answer was that the owner doesn't want to and she doesn't want to stay? I then told her why we were going and she was very surprised as if nothing was wrong. that's when I was a little rude and told her to push it. the type in the wheelchair I think the owner told her you lost another customer for me. I owe him that he lets the old blew work for him. if he were so damned, he would not have let this happen first, let alone again. we just went out. I don't know how this place stays in business to treat people to these wise. from the owner to the waiter everything I saw was inability. stay away from this place if you want a nice, friendly service, because you will not find it here.

The tuna antipasto alone is worth the trip. Food good value for cost, plenty of choices and big servings. Really enjoy this spot.

We had heard about this restaurant but never ate there before. The menu was varied, our choices were excellent and the portions generous. The waitress was helpful and so sweet. The owner came to see to our needs, the cook even stopped by. We were very happy with this choice and will definitely return and often.

Once again, a pleasant and very tasty time... good Italian food, and good pricing (especially on lunch and early-bird entrees ! Although there was some confusion with a new server, other more experienced staff pooled together to give us the delicious meal we awaited. Especially good are the fish choices, and the fish quality, from salmon to tilapia or flounder...with a tasty twist. Mama Lucia was also on hand to enhance the cozy feeling of this neighborhood gem... If/when you go 'early, ' it 's a really good deal...all around !

Good food and drink. La Casa di Lucia is one of the few restaurants in our area which actually offers their delicious calamari the correct sauteed way ! A good set up for live music here too .
