Overall, it wasn't too bad a place, but between two people get the cook special and both get two cocktails and me a coffee, the bill was $224. I just didn't think with how small the plates were (and the food was just so-so) that it was really the best value for the cost.

Our visit started well. Greeted pleasantly by host and shown to bar to wait due to our early arrival. Bartender was friendly, efficient and mixed drinks according to our specifications. We were seated at table and then waiter came over after 10 minute wait.He seemed distracted and overwhelmed. Once initial order was taken we never saw him again until we flagged down another server to ask for check. I suppose a little check in to see if there was anything else we needed could have been helpful as a drink order never arrived. Otherwise the experience was pleasant but not of a standard one would expect.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here. What a find. We don’t always think to go to the East side of town and this will be on our “bring visiting friends here” list. Sangria was great, salad was yummy, very fun shared dishes.
