Amada - Philadelphia

The interior is old-fashioned, but the service was top rate, and eating was very good.

A good, but not great meal this time. Have dined at Amada several times...this was our go to special occasion restaurant. The meal we did the tasting menu was fine but not as spectacular as our prior experiences. The noise level which we were familiar with makes it a real challenge to have any meaningful conversation at the table without feeling like you need to shout. Despite putting a note in my Open Table reservation that we were celebrating a special anniversary, no mention by the staff. If we go again, will be for a regular night out....not a special occasion.

Delicious chef’s testing menu. Loved every dish. Erratic timing between dishes and very noisy, but overall, great food!
