I still think about these brownies. all the time, they are by far the best brownies of the city. If I could afford to win a few kilos, I would have them more often.
The best chocolate in the city. coughed and tried the salted caramel, lemon myrtle, heavenly, limited edition truffle, whisky and jasmin tee (not judge! . the salted caramel is one must! all chocolates lubricated homemade and not too sweet. each was a taste hit the jasmin tee truffle used tee from the small tea shop next door. $3,50 per truffle or cheaper if they buy more in boxes. they also sell brownies, glasses chocolate balls, hot chocolate powder etc. they also serve hot chocolate. kokoblack chocolate is good, but this is sooo much better! very nice service. they know their (selected things!
The concept in these buildings has grown and sophisticated. I think it's something that was waiting for. sue lewis adds the correct balance when their bags are too flat for the restaurants above stairs, then this boutique chocolatier will sort them out.
Today I went downstairs again to explore the other of the three foodie spots in the Treasury, Sue Lewis Chocolatier. I love this space with its exposed rustic brickwork. The lady behind the counter was friendly and offered me three samples to try; I tried the chocolate fennel which was delicious. They have a nice selection of chocolates and truffles. I decided on the selection of six which comes beautifully boxed as you can see in the photo. Or if have the urge to eat them there, then there’s a communal table or some tables outside to enjoy them.
