Quai 66 - Perpignan

At about 3.30 in the afternoon, 4 of us sat outside and ordered a bottle of rose to share. We ordered the wine by name, and I said "the first one". It cost 11 euros. the waiter brought our a different wine and opened it. When we queried this, he left - I thought he was going to bring out the wine list - but no, he came back saying that the wine we'd ordered was not available, that the one he'd brought was good - that it would cost 26 or 27 euors at any other bar. Here it was 15 euros - not all that much -but nearly 40% more than we'd intended to pay. There were several other wines priced between 11 and 15 euros on the list - HE SHOULD HAVE OFFERED US THE LIST TO CHOOSE FOR OURSELVES IF THE WINE WE WANTED WAS NOT AVAILABLE. We were taken advantage of as foreigners. This waiter did the wrong thing by us, the customers, and by his employers.

Restaurant ouvert AUSSI le dimanche. Nous avons passé un moment chaleureux et convivial autour d'une table sentant la bonne cuisine. Les plats sont plutôt catalans et savoureusement préparés. Certains amateurs de rugby mangent ou boivent souvent à cet endroit où le sport est assez présent.Ambiance agréable. Nous y retournons avec plaisir.

Le cadre est sympa. L'assiette jambon, manchego et pain tomate est délicieuse.En plat, nous avons pris des gambas, c'est très bien servi, Et en dessert un bras de gitan qui était vraiment succulent. Un moment sympa entre ami, a refaire. C'est une bonne brasserie catalane de Perpignan !

Un bon moment catalan passé dans ce restaurant ! J'ai retrouvé les recettes de ma iaia (grand-mère). Les seuls soucis que j'ai signalé, un peu trop de poivre et la salade avait un gout de sachet plastique..

We had lunch Jan 2.At 13:00,the lanch menu has already sold out and we asked several dishes from la carta. Entrecot(19euro) was nice.staff was so kind even if we were not able to speak French( Actually she can speak Spanish then we wasn't faced with dificullty with order.) We were very satisfiled. The lunch menu for child was 9 euro. It was also reasonable price.
