Contribuiți la feedbackI always loved the meat of wild oaks, and I was sad to hear that he moved from our area, but wished him luck on his desire to see him soon. I really lacked the Pastrami and Brisket, as my birthday rolled around, we decided to carve and review the new restaurant in Port Orford. Everything is still top notch. Really sweet restaurant with the same smoky oak taste and crush meat. One of my favorite things is the chili and I have all kinds of requests to bring food back to Humboldt. I got a great birthday meal and brought myself ribs and pastrami home! Come back soon!
Can't say enough good things about this place! The staff is super friendly and personal, the owner is friendly, and the food is top notch!!
We had three people in our party and we ordered the pulled pig, brisket, ribs, smoked macaroni and cheese, bacon clam chowder and smoked meat chili. The portions were huge and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. All we ordered was amazing. When each of us order a meat, a page and soft drink our bill was $39. The brisket was better than anyone I had in Texas, the pulled pig and the ribs were smokey and tasteful. The house made grill sauce was sweet and tasty. Overall, this is one of the best meals I had this year.
If you like to smoked bbq, oh man is this place for you. Smoked bacon, brisket, pulled pork and ribs that fall directly from the bone are just some of the ingenious meats. This is the best bbq on the coast, really in condition. A must try if you are somewhere near Port Orford. One last thing, don't miss the smoked bacon Mac and cheese. So delicious. A must try!
Awesome place, great guy too. We got attention right away and he’s a good conversationist. You leave feeling like you know him! Don’t let the exterior of the restaurant fool you. It might not catch your attention, but it is well worth the stop. We are glad we stumbled upon this on our trip up the Oregon coast. The portions were huge, and the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were both awesome. Thanks for lunch man!
