Julie's Cafe - Penistone

A speck and wurstbap and chips ordered. the bap was huge and very tasty. I couldn't finish the chips, they were excellent, but too much. the tee came with three free cookies! great value.

Best kept secret in South Yorkshire. Great sandwiches, lovely tea and very cheap. Would happily let my friend Rob Oliver pay THREE times as much for my sandwich...what a guy.

Lovely cafe! The wait was worth it as the portions are not only large but delicious. A little gem! Would have been 5 star if they used sanitiser and it was available to the customers. Sadly customers not wearing face coverings, even if only to protect the staff!

A great discovery at the start of a walk from Penistone. A huge teacake packed with masses of bacon large mug of coffee had only one downside I ended up carrying my lunch for 8 miles as never felt hungry after this super fuelled start. You are not paying for the view, location, fancy decor or pretension on a plate but for good honest freshly cooked food. Even got a free hobnob choccie digestive with the coffee. Clean toilets, hand sanitizer available, well spaced tables, friendly welcome.

This café is perfectly located on the thoroughfare. It's always bustling with customers, many of whom are regulars. The food is great and reasonably priced. I absolutely love it!
