An-Nur Great Mosque is a mosque in Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia. Construction began in 1963 and was completed in 1968. It is one of the largest mosques in Indonesia. From the side of the building, the mosque has influences from various architectural styles: Malay, Turkish, Arabic and Indian. The Mosque nurse was built in 27 Rajab 1388 AH or 20 October 1968. It was inaugurated by Arifin Ahmad, the governor of Riau, and in 2000 was renovated during the time of the governor Saleh Djasit. Biggest mosque in Pekanbaru, huge parking space but not much tree, air conditioned, very cool inside, nice ornament, the good thing is that there is an escalator , instead of a stairs
