Chokchai Thai Food - Parkville

Cheap fast food. Overall not much flavor and overly greasy. Ordered pad Thai to go. Was quick, easy and cheap however there was no real flavor of the shrimp or sauce. Noodles were extremely greasy.

We tried this place for the first time. The takeout process was smooth and they fulfilled our order quickly. The food was decent. We had the brown fried rice with shrimp and the pad see ew with chicken and shrimp. They gave nice portions of shrimp and chicken, but the flavor was rather light and sometimes it didn't seem to have a lot of taste. I might return in the future if I need somewhere quick and close since the prices are fair, but it won't become a go-to spot.

Vegan selections are abysmal. Everything either has coconut milk AND whole milk (WHY) or fish sauce.

Newly renovated on the interior. Awesome job turning this place into one of the nicest dining/carry out place around the neighborhood. Family run, food is still great as usual. If you like authentic Thai food taste, this is a place to come. Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles are a must try!! A small but delicious restaurant. I went on a whim one day and I am SO glad I did! The food is plated so well you'd expect it to be more expensive, but it's very affordable and incredibly tasty. Togo orders are also done super quickly!
