Contribuiți la feedbackEating was okay. had the grundburger and pommes. also some had silly soup. husband ordered a beer at lunchtime. 30 minutes to get a drink. the waitress would not look at us and tried several times to get their attention. the food came at the same time when the beer came after she remembered 3 times. will not return.
Why is this 4-star vived overpriced? the sadst chicken salad I ate. the avocado was so overripe that it was seconds away from rotting. the vinaiigrette was ok, the huh was good. grumpy waiter/waxsin.
My waiter seemed nice enough, but the restaurant charged me for water and for butter which I would never have ordered had I known. What’s more, the bream filets were fishy and greasy. I never send anything back, so I just didn’t eat it....The restaurant wasn’t necessarily wrong for charging me for it anyway, but given that it was untouched save a single bite it would have been classy if they threw something in…say, the water? In any case, Paris is a fabulous food city with this restaurant being a notable exception, unfortunately. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing?
We popped in here around 7 p.m. on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was fairly empty. The service was average. The food was average. The onion soups was great though.
When we had to make the snails because they were about to be immangeable, we were told that they were not cooked on the spot. Unfortunately, we are concerned that the future of most of these cafés, bistros and betting breweries is not able to afford a cook or a professional kitchen, and will rely on buying everything to a third party. Net result: everything will have the same taste, regardless of where you choose to eat. I hope I'm wrong
