Delicious and generous cuisine very friendly welcome

This restaurant doesn't only have the best tagine and couscous in town but also has the warmest welcome by the bubbly owner herself. This place is not to be missed and be prepared to be pleasantly surprised by the awesome wine list. One word...GO !

We had a great evening here. Excellent starters and main course (lamb with lemon and olives, chicken with pear and almond, both from the tagine) and pastilla, a croquant pastry for dessert. Good Syrah wine with the food and an aperitive on the house. Quick and friendly service.

We booked online quite late in the day and I suspect the owners had to squeeze us in - but they did and made us most welcome! The place very quickly filled up and it seemed like everyone was friends with everyone else. A lively atmosphere and the owner/hostess (I don't know her name) was just lovely. The food was delicious - the gambas in panko crumbs were light, crisp, fluffy and bursting with flavour. Our mains - two couscous options and the lamb and pear tagine - were wonderful. I've never had such light, fluffy couscous, nor had it served to me with such aplomb. Gorgeous sweet-salt-savoury flavours, generous portions and plenty of fragrant spice. And the sprinkle of perfume for our hands after the meal was a lovely touch.
