There will be a line. There were five of us. We got two bottles of wine, a white and a red wine. Great service. Food was great. I would recommend the lamb. I'm not so keen with lamb but decided to try it. It was tasty and tender.
We were able to book a group of ten a few days ahead of our 615 dinner cruise and still get window seats. Service was excellent. Good food choices, no separate children's menu. Turned around at Little Statue of Liberty so both sides could get photos.
We have already experienced similar cruise in London which we utterly enjoyed. On Les Bateaux Parisiens we opted for window table Privilege Cruise with 4 courses and wine, lasting for 2 and half hours. It was definitely memorable experience but with few flaws. - Live music and singing was so quite that it was very difficult to hear any melody. I understand it should be singing in the background but when we had normal conversation we could hardly hear it.- We were served our main course when everyone around us finished theirs. No surprise that my partner's steak arrived cold. It was also well done even though we ordered medium. We were offered free digestive as compensation. - We originally planned booking cruise with tasting menu where we could choose from two starters, two mains and two deserts. Since I am vegetarian I was emailed vegetarian menu with only one choice for each course. When I contacted customer service for the second time asking what I can actually choose from, since there is no choice, I have never heard back from them.- There was professional photographer on board taking pictures. It would be amazing to have professional photos as souvenir but asking €20 for one photograph is rip off. We paid €336 for the experience and if they asked €5 per photo, we would probably buy few. As matter of principle I refused to pay €20 for one pictureTo focus on positives, despite above we had great evening, cruising on Seine, counting bridges and admiring architecture and Paris' sights. We experienced Paris in daylight, slowly getting darker and darker and we arrived to Eiffel Tower just on time to see it twinkle. If you would like to do something more special, it is worth booking the cruise. Even if you book tables in the middle, not by the window, you will still have good views of Paris.
We always do river cruises wherever we can and as it was my birthday weekend we opted for the lunch time extended cruise. Firstly what a beautiful boat. In order guarantee a window table we went for the top price bracket (privilege I think they call it) and we weren't disappointed. Our table was excellent and we were greeted by a glass of champagne and some nibbles. We had a full 4 course meal with plenty of red and white wine flowing. The food was absolutely delicious and there was a good choice for each course. The roast chicken & mashed potato was perfect. You cruise at a leisurely pace along the seine with unobtrusive commentary that doesn't spoil your meal but highlights points of interest. There was live music and a photographer on board. We paid just over £150 for both of us and considering the food, wine and settling it was well worth it. Cheaper options are available but you may not get a window seat or champagne. This is definitely something to do as a treat in Paris.
Normally when your blood sugar level drops and you're forced into eating at the closest place, you're very disappointed. Not here. We were headed to the Bateaux Parisian from the Louvre and NEEDED to eat. This place, on a boat, is docked next to the Bateaux Parisian boats and was simple and nice. Small menu but we were all happy with our chicken. It's not cheap (100 euros for four of us) but super convenient. Enjoy
