The foie gras with torchons: a slaughter! only small hic it is a little expensive: although excellent because short house we can not wait to come back

Amazing dining experience in Paris. We are visiting France/Paris very often and pretty familiar with good places to dine there . Last summer at our last day in Paris we discovered this restaurant and had an amazing dinner there . So, this year it was definitely on our list . When we walked in to the restaurant the owner Manuela recognised us instantly and even remembered what wine we ordered almost a year ago. The whole experience was great Service is super , atmosphere is cosy and decor is nice . The food there is very delicious. The best foie gras- you could try in Paris. And all different kind of preparation. The duck confit is super The service is very friendly and with Manuela recommendations about menu items and wine we had lovely dinner . We came back in a few days to celebrate our wedding anniversary and everything was just perfect. The bone marrow is MUST to try! We are recommending this restaurant a lot.
Charming, busy but not hectic, my husband and i enjoyed a delightful dinner at Il etait une Oie . . . We enjoyed the generous portions of torchon de foie gras and the fricasee d'escargots. These were followed by the maigret and the cassoulet, both equally delicious while the cassoulet was as moist and juicy as any I've every had. For dessert we shared the fondant de chocolat guanaja, a perfect ending to a lovely meal.
We have spent four weeks traveling Europe; multiple Michelin rated dinners. This restaurant beats them all! The lamb in pepper sauce was ridiculous. The French toast desert was like bread pudding from heaven. Well done Manuela and team….
