The first good sign was the cook throwing more logs on the wood fire for cooking. We had 2 Spanish speakers to help with the ordering. There were a lot of questions about the menu but then our server basically said "trust me, I'll take care of you guys". We ordered a bottle of Malbec - Luigi Bosca if I remember correctly. Very reasonably priced for as good as it was. Initially when looked at the wine list I thought I was looked at per glass prices. When I found out it was bottle price we splurged and the Luigi Bosca which was $27 US. For the meal we started with empanadas with ground beef and onion. I thought it was very good. Next was a warm cheese served on a cast iron skillet. Mild but flavorful. Another winner. Then the beef. Some sort if sirloin a little over cooked for me but still good. I finished with a type of apple crepe with caramelized sugar on top in a rum sauce. All around very good. For any first timers to this area, no cars in the parking lot at 845pm is not a bad sign. By 11pm the place was full.
