Meson Don Caracol - Palma de Mallorca

This restaurant was recommended to us but we were disappointed. Your opinion would very much depend on how much grease you like and how big you like your steaks. My starter of prawns wrapped in bacon was very disappointing. Carbonated bacon not good. Chuletas for main course was just about OK. Husband's veal was a huge portion. If that's what you like then great. Overall we were disappointed. It did seem popular with the locals though and wine was excellent.

We visit this restaurant and had lunch here. I ate snails (Caracoles) and the meal was perfect. Amo los caracoles. My favorite spanish dish.

Upon entering the restaurant we were told to head to sit in the back. Then, another waiter moved us back to the front. The restaurant was kind of messy, dirty glasses and plates stacked on tables by the bar. Next, I ordered a burger which wasn't too bad. The fries were soggy though and my friend found a hair in his food. Overall, not a great experience. I have not gone back since.

Little real variety of food, but absolutely everything was very good.

Like always a good place to eat or dinner, your expectant menu and without fraud, super cute meat, good service, a super recommended restaurant
