Fresh - Palm Desert

The acai bowl at this restaurant is made with fresh ingredients and tastes amazing. Whenever I crave one, this is the place I go to. I am never disappointed.

I contacted the Palm Desert location to inquire about gluten-free wraps for my daughter. The woman assured me they had them, so we placed an order in advance. However, upon arrival, the woman handed us a wrap from the grab-and-go section, making me doubt if it was truly gluten-free. When I questioned her again and mentioned my daughter's allergy, she insisted that the wrap was gluten-free, albeit seeming annoyed. While eating outside, my daughter mentioned that the wrap didn't taste gluten-free. I called the La Quinta location and confirmed that the wraps were not gluten-free. When I informed the woman at Palm Desert, she initially argued but eventually verified the information, showing little concern. I expressed my shock at the mistake and emphasized the seriousness of the situation, but she dismissed my concerns, even suggesting that the wraps were made from tomatoes. Frustrated by her lack of understanding and care, I pointed out the potential danger to my daughter, but she only reacted when I mentioned a possible allergic reaction. She refused to apologize, citing my use of profanity, which was absurd as she hadn't apologized or offered a refund. I attempted to contact the owner, Marcie, but never received a response. This experience was the worst customer service I've ever encountered, further exacerbated by the underwhelming smoothies. I recommend visiting Luscious Lorraine's instead.

This restaurant is a clean and healthy option for dining. I appreciate the wide variety of choices available and the affordable prices for add-ons. I tried The Original and an acai bowl, both of which were delicious. My 3-year-old niece enjoyed the PB protein smoothie, although we only allowed her to have a small amount. The customer service at this location is top-notch, with no pressure to make quick decisions and questions being answered politely. Despite living far away, I keep coming back for the great service and tasty smoothies.

The description for fresh reads currently All-vegan juice bar. but when we arrived, we were surprised to find molke listed on their menu. So just one head up, they are usually vegan, but not all. the desert delight smoothie is fantastic when they enjoy date shakes, they will love it. their raw Pitaya shell is also delicious. updated from previous review to 2017-06-25

All organic smoothies, no sugar added and homemade milk! come here and try something new! The Pitaya bullets are to die!
