Sal's Italian Ristorante

This place definitely makes my favorite cheese slice. The crust is tender, thin, and not burnt. The cheese and sauce ratio is good. I even eat the crust which I usually throw away. I have been here a couple of times for takeout pizza slices from the lunch special menu. The 2 giant slices plus a choice of drink. For my friend's two young children, the counter person does a great job at slicing their pizza slices into small pieces. I have had their takeout pizza's at a kid's birthday party before with a variety of topping. They were prepared and baked to perfection. The counter service is always friendly and customer centric. This is a causal restaurant that is large with a nice casual ambiance. Their menu is extensive with sit-down server service available. Their servers are always friendly. I would definitely come back to try some of their menu choices.

I've been coming here for a very long time, we even order out. The food portions are very generous, the chicken wings aren't the best but that's not their specialty. My go to is the chicken parm or the baked ziti. It's in a plaza so parking is moderate. The inside was just recently renovated. Very spacious.

Okay for an Italian restaurant. The pizza here is pretty good. The crust is soft and not over burnt like most places. The service is great. I do recommend coming and eating at the restaurant instead of ordering from there. For some reason the take out doesn't taste as fresh as eating it at the restaurant. Not my favorite but does not disappoint, pretty consistent and affordable.

Best pizza in the area IMO. we always carry out, faster, fraher than delivery.. This not afancy Italian place. I think of it as pizza with Italian dishes

Nikos is good too but Sal's is another planet. Every time I order from Sal's , I'm moved to call them just to say thank you for such an amazingly Delicious meal. There pizza is the way best in town, HANDS DOWN!! and I grew up in The Bronx.
