Rating just based on the pool. Turned our 4 girls' hair and their bathing suits green, the worst was our blonde one. Also noticed it happened with other people's hair in the pool. Been to many hotels, never cause their hair to turn green, ever.Edit to add: since I cannot reply to The Ambassador's response there was another adult who tried to complain as her hair turned green as well after being in the pool and the front desk said they couldn't do anything until the manager was back on Tuesday (this was Sunday) and by then they were already going to be checked out. The staff was made aware and did nothing and no escalation to management. People pay hundreds of dollars to get their hair colored and 5 minutes in the pool absolutely ruins it.

Lots of pros and cons to this place. Pro’s- the staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. They were the best part of the hotel. The balcony in the room overlooking the beach is wonderful and large. The beds were actually very comfortable. I usually can’t sleep good at hotels but this bed was great although the pillows were tiny. Cons- WiFi didn’t work at all. It gave instructions but I think the actual box in the room didn’t work. They have no tv service. The tv’s are smart TV’s but without WiFi you can’t use it. I had to use my hotspot which didn’t work too well. The place smelled really old and was very off putting and needs updating. They have very minimal dishes in the kitchen. There were 2 dirty forks for silverware. There were no paper towels or hand towels in the kitchen. Even though the balcony was nice, it was located inside one of the bedrooms which isn’t convenient at all being that we were staying there with another couple we are friends with and I kept having to walk through their room to get to it. The elevators need serious upkeep, they verge on being scary. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again. For the high price I really would think it would be a lot better.

Wow ..what a place .. location is perfect ..right on the beach and the hotel restaurant is beyond all expectations!! It is an older hotel but well maintained and remodeled. Upgrade to the ocean view ..comes with balcony ...you will not regret it and front office staff was so amazing and so was management!! Looking forward to going back

The rich history of the 1940?s gets a massive modern infusion yet strikes a comfortable balance in a relaxed poolside dining area. Crisp linen napkins and attentive service made the evening feel upscale. The delicious crabcakes were only outdone by the baby octopus salad. We watched a summer storm roll in safely from under the broad pool portico. The fresh baked cookies sealed the deal for a return trip. Great staff, Bill is top drawer! Chef Juan, Thanks for a deliciousexperience. Happy hour half price apps and beverages make this a must do soon.
