L'onada Txiringuitu' - Palamós

Sat down for ice creams and drinks after the beach and the owner refused to serve us at the table even though he served others after us. We ordered at the bar but he prevented the servers from making coffee for us. Beautiful setting but unpleasant experience. The waitresses were nice.

Great food and service was excellent, tried a locally caught type of monk fish that I can highly recommended.

Have seen this bar grow over the last 18 ISH years. From a basic beach hut to now somewhere with tables, chairs, awnings and a proper beach bar ! The menu is now limited which is a shame but the quality of the food is very good. You can now reserve a table and on weekends in the summer this is needed or you could end up with a table in the sun on the beach. The pulpo is lovely ! 99, of the staff are and always have been amazing. With the same family members. If you're lucj you will hear grandad ? Playing the piano especially bon a Sunday afternoon. One new male waiter this year has an awful attitude and is truly rude ! Luckily the staff from previous years are still there so can just avoid him shame ! Great place for lunch or drinks great mojito) and superb early evening spot when lots of people have gone. I will continue to return.

A brilliant spot, friendly staff and the best mojito ever! Toilet available for customers.Seating can be under cover or some tables are out in full sun if you prefer. We didn't eat here but each meal is cooked fresh as far as we could see.

I can't believe this chiringuito has no reviews. I was traveling in Spain for 3 weeks and ate a lot of great food but I had my best fish dish there. Probably due to the fact that Palamos is a fishing town and the the fish comes to you as fresh as it gets. They served it grilled and I could taste the amazing olive oil they used. They also added some clams and a slice of the best tomato anywhere! It is quite pricey, but worth it.
