Liam Maguires - Ottawa

Unlike the Clocktower chain of pub, here is a place that consistently delivers well presented, tasty healthy food choices. It is unfortunate the location is a little out of the way.

I've been here 3-4 times and have really enjoyed the food each and every time. My faves are the soups and the burgers, and the sweet potato fries are also great. The soups are always interesting and really, really tasty. Good selection of beer, decent service if you go early enough. I'll definitely be back.

Good food, inconsistent service. I have eaten here quite a few times. The food keeps calling me back.The menu consists of pub food. What you are presented with is better presented and tastes better than most of the pub food I've had. The kitchen is consistently good at getting the food right.The service has been both great, good and underwhelming depending on how busy it is and who is serving you. I have yet to have what I would classify as bad service.Will definitely go back.

Great place for a luncheon. Reasonably quiet mid day. Excellent menu with a limited but acceptable beer list.

We were out in the east end and feeling hungry and I remembered this pub out in the east end. It was very quiet for a pub on a Saturday but with all the events happening in August around Ottawa I wasn’t surprised. The server Kelsey was very courteous and cheerful and our meals were excellent.Mushroom Swiss Burger, Steak sandwich and the Smokey BBQ Ranch burger.
