Applebee's Grill - Ottawa

The food was awful. Like every other place they have raised their prices. It's no longer a good value. I ordered a Perfect Margarita. I usually get a wee bit tipsy from just one, that's why I order the $10 drink. The one I ordered didn't even taste like it had any alcohol at all. Found some weird veiny looking things in my steak. I told the waitress in all my years I've never seen anything like that in a steak. She was just as grossed out by it as I was.

Picking up orders at this location is never convenient for a person who is on a time schedule. The orders are consistently 10-15 minutes later than the promised time no matter if they have 2 customers or 5. The food is overpriced and the order almost always sits inside the restaurant for quite some time after saying the order is complete on the app. Napkins are never supplied with the order even after asking for them.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Good food at reasonable prices. Giant drinks.

It's too bad we won't ever be back. Especially being a local restaurant. Last time wasn't great, so we're tried again last Sunday after church eating at apple bees in Ottawa KS. The food was disgusting, cool, wings extremely over breaded, oriental salad had so much bad lettuce in it, made me sick to look at it . Of course I sent it back and did not want any replacement !We will never go back

Dylan and his staff were so incredibly welcoming to us when we arrived 13 minutes before closing time; we’d been traveling all day and were desperately looking for food. While I know we must’ve been a huge pain in their side as they were trying to close NOT ONE SINGLE employee gave us dirty looks or complained.I heard conversations in the kitchen with the cook who’d JUST finished cleaning off their grill. When told that they had to fire it up again, there was no complaint or huffing. They served us delicious food that wasn’t thrown together in frustration like other places would do.This Applebee’s should be used (and recognized as) a prime example to corporate of what EXACTLY 5 star customer service is. This team here went above and beyond for us and we were so grateful.Dylan, Applebees should feel fortunate to have you as their employee; kind and patient workers like you who’ll still help others despite it being closing time are incredibly rare to come across. Absolutely wonderful team working here. Thank you.
