Roccovino's Italian - Orland Park

Arrived and seated at 6:18 pm. Half the tables were empty except for a party in the next room. Didn't receive our overcooked food until 7:34. And we were sitting there with a 4 year old. Ridiculous.

The veal saltimbucca was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is good for families or other groups and couples. Based on the last few times we ate there, families are there before 6 pm, leaving a quieter atmosphere for diners who like to eat later.

The food was as tasty as ever, our guests kept commenting on how delicious the lasagna was, and the meatballs were the best ever. The noise level was fine for conversing, and the staff was cheerful and helped add to a relaxing dinner.

Sat down and no bread or waiter for 20 min Food took a long time to be served. We were only a table of 3. Did not receive one item ordered because the waiter did not write it down. At the end of the meal we were not offered dessert when all other tables were. We knew this because the other waiters brought out a sample dessert dish. Not sure I would ever go back.

Best Italian food in the area! Prices are fair and portions large. Soup or salad included with meal plus there is no charge for warm bread with olive oil and cheese. Too many restaurants charge extra for salad or soup. Also some restaurants charge for bread! Public Landing is one that raised prices on meal and then charges for salad and bread. You won't be disappointed here. Ans they have Happy Hour from 3-6pm! That's a plus!
