Food was ok, service was good, but prices were out of this world expensive. My 3 year old son got the kids French toast for $8 and a SINGLE piece of French toast came out with no sides. I had to share my meal with him. Additionally, every (most) breakfast entrees were between $15-$17. Do yourself a favor and go to Lumes across the street.
Food is delicious! The churro French toast sticks are really good. I never been to a breakfast place that offers appetitzers so that was a real treat! As others say, the portions are a decent size. The servers are attentive and nice. The place is really clean inside.
Nothing special.. very cafeteria like decor/atmosphere. Food has flavor, but they rip you off with prices! There’s more potatoes, onions and veggies than there is meat in the southwest chicken and steak skillets. Literally only 3 or 4 bites had meat and was charged 23.50 for the steak and 18.50 for the chicken. Never disclosed there an almost 20% gratuity which other restaurants verbally disclose that! The plates weren’t clean. The forks they gave my kids were server forks that we had to ask to switch out. If they would decorate the place and lower the prices or at least add more meat and less veggies it would be worth it. The appetizers we ordered was their steak and egg rolls and the zaatar pizza. It was better than the main dishes. But I was disappointed in the quality of the main dishes from the lack of meat. Definitely keep that in mind if you’re planning on coming. My total bill came out to a little over $185 for 2 (lack of) steak skillets, 2 southwest chicken(less) skillets, cinnamon roll pancakes, tasteless banana Nutella crepes, and the two appetizers listed above. Left really dissatisfied!
This is the second time I've come to enjoy breakfast at this gem of a breakfast café.My first trip I was on a very restricted diet, so I ordered the Lean Machine, and it was very large in size, so I was able to save half of the omlette for another round, plus the pancakes and hashbrowns for kids at home. Server was very friendly and tentative. Very clean, open and airy atmosphere. There's also a specialty menu for coffees. This second time, there were five of us, and since I am no longer on such a rigid diet, I was like a kid in a candy store selecting what to eat for breakfast. We ordered two appetizers, French Churro Stix, and Steak and egg egg rolls with cilantro aoli. Both are a must try!Breakfast at our table was a variety of deliciousness. Turtle Pecan Belgian waffle, Southwest Skillet, Lean Machine, Red Velvet Oreo Pancakes, and Lotus Biscuit Cookie Crepes. They have juice and milk options for everyone, as well as coffee and teas. We tried the honey cinnamon latte over ice, as well as the lotus biscuit cookie iced latte. Both were phenomenal! Our server (Makeyla? Was a dear and super friendly, and Yvette the manager was absolutely welcoming and personable.Granted the pricing is a bit higher than a Dennys or IHOP, however, the portions of food, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the staff attentiveness in my opinion certainly justified it.This place will be getting not only our business, but also friends and family that travel for visiting, for many years to come!Vegetarian options: Review menu online.
