Pleasure Island Tiki - ORANGE BEACH

Beautiful view! Nice people. Food was ok. I had a Hawaiian pizza. Nothing fancy about it kinda plain. The drinks are good kinda pricey for a little drink. Nice relaxing place with a good view so that won me over!

Our visit yesterday was a pleasant one and I'm happy to update my review with updated star rating. This isn't an arbitrary seesaw rant based on random experiences but rather an evolution of change of ownership and management that's happened post Sally and Covid. For a full explanation please read my previous review. Here's the thing, the new owners initially did a really great job with the revitalization both inside however the food and drink issues after the reopening was pretty unfortunate. I am happy to report that they have greatly increased their number of food and drink selections and it's not too bad at all. No this is not fun me dining but hey it's a Tiki bar on the water so the addition of chicken wings, pizza, shrimp baskets, etc. and a game day for College ball all makes a much better experience after a day on the water, on the beach or just a relaxing place to toss back a cold one, grab a snack and chill. Bravo! The nachos, fried mushrooms and Alfred chicken pizza were all good abd I'd order again. Also I gotta mention that they are experiencing staff issues with only two servers on a Saturday evening but they hustle and make it okay with a smile, bravo again. Bottom line: I am very pleased that corporate has positively responded to the locals that is more in line with what locals want.

Revisited this gem! Had a blast as usual. Tried some new items and wow the corn fritters are delicious! Make sure you ask for the jalapeño ranch. It's made in house! Perfect bites of corn, cream cheese, jalepeno and spices fried up into a ball. The nachos were tasty but had very little queso on it. We had to ask for more. Service was great. Live band was great and drinks were great. Visit this place!

The service leaves a lot to be desired until Peter comes on shift, then that improves. The beer is cold, the food is good and the patrons are interesting to say the least. We've been coming here for a decade, through several different management/owner changes, and this was the least favorite visit but we will be back.

First time here and it was great. The atmosphere was a great crowd. It was right on the water so you could see everyone boating and parasailing, it was cool! The food was delicious and well priced. Their inside is covered in one dollar bills customers have wrote on and stapled up so we had to join!! So cute!! Stop in if your looking for a quick but good meal before water sports or just driving through. #Ohiocrew
