We went to this restaurant after we were looking for authentic Pakistani food. we found pictures of food that look authentic so that we (I, my wife and 2yrs old daughter) went to try to eat. we ordered chicken karahi, baked vegetables and chickensuggets. eating was very fresh and much more delicious than expected. we enjoyed eating very much. they make the food immediately and present them sizzling. this is family-run restaurant from a couple of pakistan, they really give 100% of their energy in serving and fulfilling them. The main aim is to satisfy them. the couple was very nice, they offered free doodhpati chai at the end, which was so delicious, and remembered Pakistani dhaba style chai. all the workers were so respectful, helpful and looked after us very well, especially shiva, who served our food and repeatedly asked if we needed something. the room is very huge that my daughter enjoyed running around. I'm a long island, but would definitely go back, this restaurant will be my favorite right away. many thanks to the fact that they have served so nice and fed us such a delicious meal.

I went with my friends to Dera BBQ, which is one of the best restaurants in Connecticut. It is a clean and beautiful place. We had a party of 15 people and received excellent service. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Neelam, who generously offered us a complimentary dessert of gajar halwa made with desi ghee. It was delicious. The BBQ here is top-notch, with tender and fresh meat. I highly recommend this restaurant to others.

The food lacked flavor, and the charga (whole chicken) did not have the expected taste. For authentic Pakistani cuisine, try a restaurant in NYC instead. The prices were reasonable for the large portions, but the service was terrible. I called ahead to order but was told to wait an additional 15 minutes upon arrival. However, I ended up waiting an extra 45 minutes. Never again!

The dining experience was pricey and disappointing. The samosas were overcooked and the nihari was unsatisfactory and watery. We visited for breakfast on the weekend only to be told they were not serving breakfast, despite calling ahead and being informed otherwise. Additionally, the online menu did not match the menu at the location, which was limited in options. I will not return if you are looking to waste money.

Wonderful new place. Great service. Good food. Large portions. Worth the money. Delicious food. North Indian, Pakistani style cooking. Perfectly cooked meat, soft and juicy.
