Taipei Asian Cuisine - Omaha

I have always been a fan of this restaurant! A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a gluten allergy. I was thrilled to learn that one of my favorite Chinese restaurants offered gluten-free options. However, the last few times I called to place an order, they informed me that they no longer had gluten-free dishes available. I am extremely disappointed as I have been a loyal customer for a long time and now must adhere to a gluten-free diet out of necessity, not choice. My family of five used to dine here regularly, but we will now have to find another restaurant to patronize.

We had a great experience every time we visited this restaurant. The staff is friendly, the appetizers are delicious, and the entrees have large portion sizes. My favorite dish is the orange chicken, my favorite soup is the hot and sour soup, and my favorite appetizer is the black pot stickers (although everything I tried here was enjoyable). I highly recommend this place!

My wife and I arrived shortly after the restaurant's evening hours began. We tried the salt and pepper calamari as an appetizer, which we found to be seasonally perfect and very tasty. I highly recommend it. We also ordered the shrimp and pork mandarin, as well as the Szechuan beef. If you don't like spicy food, I suggest avoiding the Szechuan dish. Personally, I thought it was amazing. The staff was very friendly, and I would definitely go back if I were in Omaha again.

I tried this place to eat. space seemed clean. there ends the compliments. very average food (no seasoned very blande.) small portions. Little huh. don't go back. space has to be much better.

The staff was horrible to me when I picked up a take out order, prices are through the roof. A family of 4 with some appetizers were over a hundred dollars. When I asked about the price he got snappy and said you looking at the wrong menu. Their prices have increased big time. Looks like I am finding a new chinese take out, I miss Five Spicy great people and good prices.
