Wayback Burgers - Old Saybrook

A !!! We stopped here spur of the moment, and I am so happy we did! The staff was kind, accommodating and welcoming. The food was delicious! The restaurant was spotless. And this is going to be a place I now crave! We were already impressed with the food and then the owner, Lori, came to our table! She was so sweet and made us feel welcome and so appreciated. We will be back and are already planning what we'll have the next time.! Can't wait!! PS. I can't upload any photos because we ate it so fast! DeLICIOUS!!

It was expensive, the food was mid at best, and the milkshakes prices are absurd. 8 bucks for a drink that is very small. never coming back

Great food, and very fair prices, but the best service you could possibly expect to get. Everyone who works here is so kind, friendly, and helpful, always not only willing but wanting to go the extra mile for their customers. I come here once a week or so on my lunch break from my job in old Lyme and they’ve all learned my name and how I like my food, it’s always hot and ready for me when I order ahead on the app and they service it with a smile and kindness. It’s rare to see such an impressively run restaurant these days, especially when it’s a chain, but these guys do it right. Special thanks to Lori who is the captain of this well run ship, she’s made customer for life in me!

Lori was not only respectful, kind, attentive, but provided perfect instructions on how to use the app. Not only will I be coming back bit I want Lori everytime!
