Mj's Walnut St Pub Grill - Oglesby

We stopped here after our hiking at Starved Rock. It turned out to be a really nice find. The outside a little deceptive as it looks like a bar. We did ask if kids could come in to eat (yes) and they had a nice dining area in the back. There were only few patrons at the bar and there was no issue at all with that. We enjoyed our food immensely, it was fresh and very filling. Great service too!Highly recommend.

Food was not cooked all the way, and it took about an hour to get our food the place was just kinda weird. Also not to mention the bartender was playing the slots as we were there lol.

For a place that we love to eat at, such horrible service. Some guy losses his keys and we were given the third degree about his keys. We had three people ask us about the keys! Made us feel like we were lying about the keys. Sarah is the worst manager ever. After the third time of asking, she interupted our night out and wanted us to move so she could look for keys. IT WILL BE A LONG TIME BEFORE WE EAT THERE AGAIN.

Awesome food! Can't wait til covid is over so we can eat there again!
