Newk's Eatery - Odenton

What would Newk’s Eatery on Main Chapel Way be without the faithful cashier Jebediah? From the moment I walked in, Jebediah’s warm smile and friendly order-taking from me and my 97-year-old grandmother brightened my day. He seated us and helped my grandmother eat (she has no teeth) by spoon feeding her. Jebediah is such a kind employee, in fact, he gave me a free Newk’s “Q” sandwich on the way out, and handed my son 100$.

When we first walked in the door there is a huge menu on the wall to the right, along with printed copies close by. At first it's a little confusing how the flow of ordering goes but that was very quickly answered by the staff whom noticed a lost family of 4 as we are traveling and stumbled over this little restaurant. To be honest I didn't care for the food pictures on the outside windows though. Since it was lunchtime the kids were eager for pizza which from what I was told it was good. The husband had the Italian Sub with pasta salad. And I had the Chicken Salad Sub with Pasta. Everything tasted fresh the pasta salad even tasted like something from home. The bread had a nice crisp. Both sandwiches were delicious. Staff were very attentive to explain everything and even came by before we left to see how everything was. Bathrooms were very clean and there is outside seating available. Honestly can't wait to come back to the area and visit once again.

Food is good, salads are amazing, clean well run staff is nice, prices are creeping up but portions are not shrinking

Food is always good, mid ranged price, make sure to sign up for the reward program to get free food!

Everything is delicious here! My favorites are the Newks Q pizza and sandwich, and black&bleu salad. Staff are very friendly as well!
