Mangia Mangia - Oakville

Hidden gem in Oakville; both the food and the family who owns it. Stumbled upon this place last evening with a craving for some homely Italian pizza and pasta. This place did not disappoint and this will now be my new go to spot. The menu is simple but perfectly executed.We tried their margherita pizza, funghi pizza, funghi pasta, ravioli, arancini, and most of their desserts. Everything is hand made with care and have great flavors. The pizza is reminiscent of a cross between Neapolitan and New York style, the pastas are flavored just right, not too rich so you can enjoy eating the whole dish. The ravioli in rosé sauce was definitely a stand out item that has to be tried. Their tiramisu was nice and soaked giving it the perfect texture, smooth canoli filling, and the best was their custard bombe (hand made italian filled donuts) which wasn't on the menu but we were lucky enough to see being served at the front desk. Can't wait to come again here with my family.

I'm incredibly happy with this place. I recently moved into the area and found this place close by. The place already had great reviews so I decided to check it out. I have no regrets. Food was delicious. I ordered the veal cutlet as it was recommended by the staff there and after I ate it, I could see why. This place serves authentic Italian food and their in house tomato sauce is so incredibly rich. Besides the food, the people who work there are so polite and make you feel at home. The place is a small cozy place. Perfect place to come relax or do some work. I will definetly coming back to try other menu items.

Mangia Mangia is a great little gem in Oakville! Delicious Italian homestyle dishes! We were back in our old neighbourhood and noticed this 'new ' Italian restaurant that 's actually going to celebrate their one year anniversary this December 2019. We popped in to do take out. I was so excited to see they offer panzerotti not just baked but also fried! It 's so hard to find a restaurant that offers it fried anymore. Then I saw the sign they were the semi-finalist for Ontario 's Best Veal Sandwich 2019! We ended up ordering the Caprese salad, veal sandwich and the fried panzerotti and stayed to eat in! The nice surprise is how delicious the tomato sauce was that came with the panzerotti!! This real family owned restaurant with delicious dishes, simple decor and lots of free parking beats the Downton Oakville spots!

If fresh basil leaves instead of dried basil used for Margherita pizza，it will be tasted better. Pasta with funghi is good，I like the sauce. Overall it is a neat place to have quick meals.

Quaint little Italian restaurant with delicious pizza. I ordered the Terracina which was amazing! The crust was so nice and thin and the toppings were top notch. You can really taste the quality in the ingredients and the care taken to make it. The owners make sure that you're looked after and are completely satisfied. They really take pride in their food and it shows. I'll be sure to try a pasta dish on my next visit. The next table over had a dish that looked amazing and I really had to restrain myself from reaching over for a fork full. I ended my meal with a great cappuccino and a scrumptious Nutella Bomba. Soooo good!
