Little Tokyo Japanese Korean - Oakville

Love this place. Have been going to it for years and has some of the best, most authentic Japanese/Korean food outside of Asia. The dumplings are incredible and the yakisoba is borderline perfect. Super cute restaurant with kind owners. Prices are low for the quality of food you’re getting. Cannot recommend enough!

This is more of a home cook meal type of restaurant. Nothing special for what I considered an expensive lunch. $84 for a family of 4, and we did not even order much. The restaurant doesn't even serve water. Probably my first and last time here.

Kalbi combo: Their kalbi was a bit tough because of the tendons on the meaty part of the kalbi pieces. I find the quality of the meat is poor in almost all the Korean restaurantsfor a one person. Kalbi dinner entree. The rice was really mushy and the extra sauce on the rice and the kalbi really didn't improve the taste.

I DON’T NORMALLY WRITE RESTAURANT REVIEW BUT THIS ONE WORTH MY LONG REVIEW!!! BEWARE OF THEIR UNNOTIFIED EXTRA CHARGE!!!The food were terrible. Not sure how people find this place a gem. The teriyaki chicken rice had some Chinese egg noodle inside?! The Yakisoba had half a scoop of cold rice beside it, covered with sauce. Seems like giving me whatever left over in their kitchen to us.At checkout, the lady (I think she was the owner) didn’t plan to give me a receipt, I paid for and paid $25 tips, when I asked for receipt with details, she told me that she had added 20% service charge on my bill ALREADY because we have more than 6 people, I asked her why she didn’t tell me about it and I have paid extra tips on my bill because of that. She said, “SERVICE CHARGE IS DIFFERENT, IT’S NOT TIPS!”Honestly I would be ok if she have told me beforehand. With not even a single cup of water being served to us (with no one else in the store), I don’t see why did I have to pay for 30% in total In SERVICE CHARGE TIPS! What a scam! My whole party was soooooo upset and haven’t experienced this kind of low grade food and service for a long long time!

Normally I don’t write review but this restaurant is the worst. Their price is way over priced. I ordered Sashimi combo which is 17.99 and they gave me only 9pcs of Salmon and 3pcs shrimp. Salmon taste no good and how they cut the Sashimi is like unprofessional. Also their service is no good. I won’t go back
