Contribuiți la feedbackVery bad experience with this hotel, front desk, and rooms. Over a month ago, I reserved 2 queen beds and upon check in was only provided with 1 king upon check in. On top of that, front desk was not even going to provide the price difference without me acknowledging that there is a price difference when booking single and 2 beds. They said they would give a cot, which couldn't even fit in the room to make up for it. They also were not able to provide the requested accessible room with 2 beds either. The front desk didn't even know they had such a room until I told her the exact room that we stayed in before. Lastly, I get to the room and they lied and it is not accessible. Once they move me to another room, there is a big ozone air machine in here and maintenance guy doing work in the bathroom. As a Marriot Bonvoy member, this has been the worst experience ever.
We’ve been staying here for a long time now. And I can say that I truly enjoy this place. I especially like the M Lounge. Whenever I come there’s always someone greeting me with a bright smile and making my day better. So special thanks to Grace, Ileen, Mel, Kabita and Zaira. They’re always very considerate, supportive and professional. I’m very grateful for them)
If you haven’t already, try the Marriott City Center in Oakland, it’s a great place to unwind. Our favorite hotel in Oakland. The M Lounge is a great place to relax because of the staff, from ILeen, Grace, Mel, Cavita, Zaira and to the manager Debbie M. and Martin, they are all very professional and friendly. The staff also sanitize the table(s) after each use by a guest. They offer a healthy selection for breakfast, and a variety of snacks and drinks through out the day. Susan is also very nice and keeps the gym room very tidy and well stocked with clean towels and paper cups. To the staff at Iron and Oak, Safi, Becky, Shafi, Lititthea, Debbie, and Martin, who made our daughter’s graduation party extra special. “Thank you.” This is the first hotel I have experienced where the staff represents “first class service.” Thank you Marriott for hiring each of them, they take pride in what they do and it shows by the excellent service they give to each of your guests.
She was excellent, Zaria Kabita. Her service was executional and very helpful. This place never disappoints, this is the third time she has help us and always has been a very good experience. The area was clean
I stay at Marriott's and Hilton Hotels primarily when I travel for business. Generally, these both have excellent quality and service. I admit I was disappointed with the Oakland Marriott City Center. I was greeted promptly when I arrived and was given a room on the 9th floor. It was already late in the day, and I was tired after the flight from Chicago. I put down my bags and went into the bathroom to drop off my toiletries. It was then I noticed how dirty the bathroom was. If it had been cleaned, they didn't do a very good job. Unfortunately, this incident colored my view of the hotel from the start. It is well-appointed, and the public areas are very nice. The bed was comfortable. I didn't have a chance to use any of the facilities (restaurant, bar, health club, etc. . I'm sure, and if I did, I might have left feeling better about my stay. After returning home, I received a survey from Marriott about my stay. I was honest with them about my concerns. The next day, I got an email from the hotel's General Manager apologizing for my experience. My point in telling this story isn't to trash the hotel. What happened, happened. What I took away from this was the General Manager's response. Had she not done that, I would not consider returning. Given her apology and concern, I told her how much I appreciated her response and, if I were in Oakland, I would certainly give the hotel another chance.
